Main structure of the biogas generator set
Biogas generator sets include biogas-fueled reciprocating internal combustion engines, alternators, electrical parts, control devices, cooling systems, lubrication systems, exhaust systems, fuel systems, and auxiliary equipment. Except for the exhaust pipe and silencer of the exhaust system, they are mounted on a steel chassis. The generator set is a fixed permanent installed generator set. The steel underframe is mounted to the concrete foundation.
Gas engine
Cylinder: The cylinder is where the combustion of the gas takes place. It houses the piston that moves up and down to generate power.
Piston: The piston moves up and down inside the cylinder, converting the energy from the combustion of gas into mechanical motion.
Spark plug: The spark plug ignites the gas-air mixture in the cylinder to initiate combustion.
Crankshaft: The crankshaft converts the linear motion of the piston into rotational motion, which drives the engine.
Valves: The intake and exhaust valves control the flow of gas and air into and out of the cylinder.
Fuel system: The fuel system delivers the gas to the combustion chamber for ignition.
Cooling system: The cooling system helps regulate the temperature of the engine to prevent overheating.
These components work together to power the gas engine and drive various applications, such as generators, vehicles, and machinery.
Alternator
Synchronous brushless alternator of ROBOT, self excited and self regulated voltage system,0.8PF,±1% voltage regulation, Max rating temperature: 125℃. Enclosure with class “H” insulation. The alternator conform to common with BSEN60034, BSS5000, UDE0530, NEMA MG1-22 and IEC34.
Control Panel
Automatically indicate/operate/control the engine operation, 8V-32V AC, indicating the operational status and fault conditions by means of graphical LCD display. Protection-function data is fixed by itself.
